Many Spanish rescue associations visit schools to educate the young Spanish that animal cruelty and hunting is not acceptable.
Galgos 112 recently supported a visit to a school where the children were introduced to 2 adopted galgos.
'Jade and Fabiola, accompanied Mei and Pol to the Doctor Sobrequés school in Bescanó (Girona), to give a talk about animal abuse to all the boys and girls in the first grade.
They talked about animal abuse in general and what galgos suffer in particular. Everything focused in a pedagogical way and, above all, putting a lot of emphasis on the good things that boys and girls can do to help animals.
