News from PACMA trying to raise funds for the animal shelters in Spain.
'Can you imagine being able to check a box to help animals on your tax return?
Well, it is not a dream, and from the Animalist Party we are fighting to make it a reality.
This initiative could change the lives of tens of thousands of animals rescued by animal protection entities, who are going through real economic hardship to be able to support them.
For this reason, the Animalist Party with the Environment (PACMA) has asked the first vice president and Minister of Finance of Castilla, María Jesús Montero, to include animal protection entities in the social purposes box of the Income Tax Declaration.
We believe that it is essential that animal protection is recognised as a goal of social interest, as well as other areas such as care for people with social and health needs, environmental protection and the promotion of public safety.
What does this mean?
When you file your income tax return, you will have the opportunity to allocate 0.7% of the full amount of personal income tax to help support the shelters. This is a simple but powerful way to contribute to the cause by checking just one box.
We visited the Benjamin Mehnert Foundation, where they spend a million euros a year on saving dogs – without public subsidies!
Our president, Javi Luna presented the request that we have made to @mjmonteroc for animal protection entities to be included in the DeclaraciónDeLaRenta's social causes box.
