Diansa and Fontanela arrived at our Rescue center on October 1, 2020 and were given away by their owner. When the sisters were picked up from a local vet in Mazarrón Fonda was shaking all over. She was so scared and every time her sister Dia disappeared from sight she desperately searched for her. It soon became clear to us that these sisters were inseparable and that a future without each other was unthinkable, not even possible.
The search could start looking for a perfect match, which was not easy since the sisters were not so young. Days/weeks/months went by but we didn't gave up. These sisters would have a new future together at all costs. Dia & Fonda saw many friends leave, but finally 10 months after their arrival at Galgosrescuealmeria, both sisters could leave their past behind and pack their bags with the nice memory of their stay at GRA. It was an emotional farewell because these girls were so special.
Thanks to Associazione ZAC Odv and of course their new family, Dia & Fonda got a new chance in their lives.
We are so pleased to see that they are doing well.
