'This little one is also a victim of hunting and abandonment, luckily her path crossed with that of our friend Belén who is the foster home of many of our rescues, infinite thanks for everything you do for them. You are safe now NEU, your life has changed already.
We leave you Belen's words about the history and character of NEU.
"I'm headed out to walk my troop like just another day." That day I decided to take a different route, shorten the road to get to a traffic light earlier. It was an accidental decision that would save a life. When I was walking half a street, a person stopped me and asked me if I wanted to pick up a galgo that was abandoned and in the heat. I told him I would if I was sure that dog didn't belong to anyone, I didn't want trouble if it was someone's. He assured me no, she was abandoned. He brought it to me and delivered it to me.
Unknowingly, that dog had gotten a second chance. She is a low-medium galgo, young approx 1'5 or 2 years old. At first skeptical but soon you win her over and she's charming. Gets along well with dogs, doesn't react to small dogs.
Now NEU is in foster care until she is neutered and will need a home, after the castration.
