'I have a sanctuary for oldies but recently I found a dumped galga, highly pregnant and same night mummie delivered 5 gorgeous babies. Unfortunately mum was so severely abused that she passed away and I had to raise them on my own.

Hi Beryl,
I have recently approached the "world" of Spanish Galgos after my Airedale Terrier Holly passed away in October 26th.
I have seen you have pups and I'd like to ask you whether I may ask for an adopción. I live in Italy 25km fare from Milan in an indipendent house with a lot of space.
Another thing I would like to buy your book on Galgos but I could not find the link for Spanish edition. I really appreciate if you can submit it.
Thanks for answering

Hi I'm sorry to read about your Airdale, they are lovely but uncommon dogs nowadays, one doesn't see many of them. There are many galgos in Italy, Protectora Scooby regularly homes galgos to Italy and also Pet Levrieri. It would be best to adopt through one of their associations as they can give you backup in the event of any problems with a hound settling...although it doesn't often happen...and also meet other galgo adoptants. Unfortunately I haven't been able to upload the Spanish version of my book but I recently found a couple of copies of the English version, if you would like to buy one. Email me direct if you would. banddbrennan@yahoo.co.uk. Thank you for discovering the world of the galgos and for wishing to give one a forever home.
