Will the galgueros ever take responsibility for the terrible over-breeding, maltreatment and dumping of galgos. They really are from the dark ages...
2 more at Pepis Dog Refuge needing expensive vet treatment. Corley was dumped back in September with a deformed front leg possibly from an old injury which arthritis had attacked. It is possible that he will need an amputation, although other opinions are still being sought. In the meantime, the continued visits to the vets need funding.
Next is Kaiora, left tied at the gates who has now been diagnosed with coronary problems. More investigative work by the vets, more medical treatment on the cards, more vet fees!
And lastly Bradie, who Jane and Alan spotted being left tied to the gate with baler twine. He's skinny and covered in wounds old and fresh, including one in his neck where the chip has been cut out. More vet fees for blood tests.
Please help Pepis, you know they rely solely on your donations and any fundraising you can do - car boot sales, coffee mornings, adverts on vet clinic news boards...donate paypal pepis.dogrefuge@yahoo.co.uk Also join the Pepis Teaming Group.
