As a change from appeals etc, I thought you might like an update on my Spanish family. In the photos here you will see my tiny Podenca Andaluz Bebe, now 13 years old, watching Polar sleeping. Then there's dark brindle galgo Bracken (a failed foster from Galgos del Sol) who insists on sitting on whoever is on his favourite bed - he's 7 years old now - in this case lovely Carmela, rescued from a perrera by L'Europe des Levriers. She also came as a foster but with serious trauma problems. It took us 2 1/2 years for her to realise that life was good, by which time it was too late to put her up for adoption. So she's another failed foster, now 11 years old.
Finally there's Polar - what can I say?! 3 years old now, adorable, loving, mischievous, very naughty. And loves empty plastic drinks bottles, as it's what Jane Brian of Pepis Dog Refuge gives the pups to play with! He loves sleeping on his back, legs in the air, displaying his huge deep chest for rubbing! He's doing very well with his damaged leg, loves to run and play with Bracken and Carmela.
