It is wonderful what Charl and her husband and family do for these dogs. I have received my book, 'a galgo's Christmas wish' and it's lovely. A great present for children, although I am keeping my copy!

I have recently rescued a Galgo "Gandalf" (via Greyhounds in Need) and they are so wonderful dogs so forgiving and wanting to please. I am honoured that I have been able to do just a little to help.I feel that Charl and her family do such great work and without their input these poor hounds would suffer so much more - my heart goes out to them. I just fail to understand why such cruelty exists / continues Guess it must be a totally different mindset.....and it is unacceptable in a so called civilised world.

That's lovely Melanie, my two galgos were from Greyhounds in Need too. Gone now but never ever forgotten, two angels.
