Evil metal snares which maim rather than kill

This happened this week in the pine forest of Camaleon. The dog is called Gala and its foreleg was caught in the trap. The person rescuing her had their hand badly damaged from the animal biting them in fear and pain. On Saturday, the organisation which found it is organising a search for more of these wicked traps. They say 'some son of a bitch is putting these traps where kids play and walk the dogs.'

Podencos are often caught in these traps, searching in undergrowth for rabbits.
