Rescued from gypsies; on death row in Malaga perrera

This young galga was rescued on 28/12 from a gypsy encampment, no longer wanted. She has been named Luky. Let's hope she gets lucky, if anyone has room for her?

There would be more photos but the people taking them are now in trouble from the administration! 'I am sorry not to have taken more photos in the perrera but they were not agreeing because immediately after I circulated this, many people called to insult me and they are still angry' Contact Margarita if anyone can help any of the dogs.

Cadiz - 2 month old galgo puppy away from its mother - urgent help needed

This galgo puppy is 2 months old, and away from its mother, in Cadiz. An association needs to get it urgently. If anyone can take it, please email the man who has it. Or the lady who sent the appeal lomadelperro@yahoo.com 31/12 now been told it has been saved and is safe.

And a note for associations with galgo puppies for adoption. There is a lady in France who wants to adopt a galgo puppy to breed lurchers. Please take every precaution if you get an application from an Englishwoman wanting a galgo puppy. Email me for more information.

More abandoned Cordoba galgas and a lame puppy

Cordoba again, yet another galga and puppies. Here's the report from El Arca de Noe Cordoba.

'23 Dec. I was driving along a road going to a store on an industrial estate when a galga crossed my path, her teats were very swollen. I had to brake hard so as not to hit her. She ran into the rough ground on the industrial estate, and I then saw she was not alone, there was another galga with her, and a puppy - the puppy is lame.

Seville galguera threatens disposal of her galgas - any room for them?

Appeal from Seville, a Galguera (female hunter) wants to get rid of these two young galgas, as they are no good for hunting?! Doesn't look like they have had a decent meal in a while! They are two years old, have their vaccines and cards (EU passport). Not much time left to save them before she takes them to the perrera.
