A couple of days ago I posted about our friend Charl in Malaga desperately trying to rescue a terrified galgo with a cord round his neck. This is the latest news from her.
'I have been out the past few days and evenings pacing looking for the white galgo. He keeps coming back to the same location, however there are workmen fumigating and he has been put off. It appears that they are fumigating the palm trees so the liquid goes directly into the tree. I hope that is all they are doing since any other fumigation is dangerous for our galgo.
He was not lame the first day I saw him, but he is now. He is right on the train track, and right near the main road leading to the motorway; either way he must have been clipped by something. he is absolutely terrified and we have lost a crucial 2 days with these workers in the area. I am hoping tomorrow they leave and I can spot him again!'
Please, everyone, pray for them both, that Charl can catch him.
It's a situation all too common now in Spain; over 50,000 galgos kicked out by their hunter owners!
