Stop this Man!

This petition is against a man who calls himself an artist. In 2007 he chained a dog up and left it to starve to death. He called it 'Art'. More on www.greyhoundaction.org.uk/greyhound.html

I am writing in protest to a so called artist named Guillermo Vargas Habacuc - he is no more than a criminal.

You allowed him to perform an act of gross cruelty on a helpless animal and cause its death by starvation, thirst and sickness. A broken heart as well. This act took place at your gallery Centro Nacional de la Cultura in San Jose, Costa Rica 2007. THIS IS NOT ART, ITS MURDER!

Of all the cases I have seen regards animal abuse and cruelty - a senseless killing of a dog to better the publicity stunt of an individual person is shameful. You are to blame and have blood on your hands like he does for not allowing this to be stopped. No-one helped the dog at all, he had not a chance of survival. This man is a poor example of a human being and if he can do this what else can he do? The gallery is disgraceful for allowing this to take place, and to have blood on your hands.

I deplore this act of cruelty, and he should be brought to justice. This publicity has offered you no more than negative publicity. This must be stopped and forbidden to EVER happen again!

This is a modern day living, and these acts are not modern art. They are cruelty and ignorance. He should be struck off the list of all galleries and art exhibitions.

Depends in which country it is going to happen, I think. The petition site indicates it could be Honduras, but Telma of GRIN thinks it might be Miami. She is investigating. As soon as there is any more information, I will post it.
