'Well we finally got to the march In Malaga, but not without incident I might add. First of all I was late (as usual) picking JacquiRoss up, but we arrived safely in the centre of Malaga. Neither of us knew where we were going, so it was like the blind leading the blind. Roadworks everywhere and diversions. We wanted to go right and the signs said go left Grrrr.
Eventually we stopped at some traffic lights, and there to our left was the march, but we couldn't see anywhere to park. So we had to head straight on. We were nearly back on the motorway before we could turn round again, miles out of our way. I think we passed the North Pole. Heading back I said to Jacqui, I know a great place to park, which I found, took me ages to get in it, and then she said " I think we're miles away" (God help me). So I did what you shouldn't do in the centre of Malaga, a U turn. Back on the main road towards the marina we saw a parking sign. Any port in a storm will do, but we wanted to be at the port!!! So we parked up and started walking.
To hold us up even more Kacey wanted to pee on every lamp post, tree and blade of grass that was available. We came to a little seating area for a rest, wondering how far away we were. As it turned out, about 50 mtrs around the corner was Plaza De la Marina. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. We got there, although a little late. And guess what? There's parking underneath the Plaza!
So next year we know exactly how to get there and where to park Lol!
One last thing, There was a dog there that you couldn't see, she was there in spirit, in my locket, and in all of our hearts. our beloved Grace. She will never be forgotten.
