Robin Waldman

So true. Should be required reading for all new and potential adopters.

For some reason I have had the opposite experience with all of my rescue dogs. They go out in the garden and can't get back in the house fast enough, little face peering through the window in the door. However, I never let any new rescue dog off the lead for at least six months until I am 100% sure they will come back. I do keep reading loads about loads of rescue dogs going missing, really sad when they have been through so much already.
