In a village in Seville province - struggling to survive on a rubbish tip!
Chirigota (Chiri) is a galga that some girls found and fed on a rubbish tip. They had to use gloves to catch her as she was very afraid and tried to bite them. She was in a very bad condition and the lady who rescued her, Inmaculada Gomez Gonzalez took her to an emergency Vet.
Chiri was covered in bugs, weighed only 15 kilos - she should be nearer 25 kilos - is dehydrated, anaemic and her skin is flakey. She has been given intravenous serum and vitamins to hydrate and to make analytical Biochemistry and blood cell count as her gums are very pale. She is also on antibiotics, her temperature is normal, but she is still very frightened. She is about 3 years old.
Inma at the moment is committed to paying vet fees, already 80 euros but will be much more when it is known what treatment Chiri needs and she will need special food. Paypal and bank details below, if you can help.

If you are on facebook, there is an Event page to raise funds
Poor baby, she looks in a terrible state and looks so frightened and defeated. At least now life will get better for her. I will put a donation through in next few weeks, so good that she is now safe.
