Dog friendly B & B UK

We're travelling over to the UK on 29th September (duty visit to aged parent) and will be bringing our foster dog, en route to his forever home. We arrive Portsmouth at 9.30pm, and need to find a dog friendly B & B for the night, not too far away, where we can have him with us, as he's likely to be a bit stressed at yet another change in his life.

I've been on the Internet bot have not had any success, can anyone suggest a place to me?

Things to do with galgos! Sod the galgueros who wanted to kill ours

a light-hearted note - we went to a dog show last weekend. foster dog bracken won 'best hunting dog' - his uk passport is ready early september - and sahara and i won 'dog looks most like its owner' - poor sahara limped into the ring wondering why her leg was bandaged!

bracken was rescud injured by galgos del sol, sahara was saved from the cordoba killing station by l'europe des levriers - both under 2 years old at the time.

Cordoba - galga mama & puppies in desperate need - Arca de Noe appeal

As you know, I am not able to type much, as my right arm is immobile after a shoulder operation. I simply cannot keep up with the appeals which come in. But this is one from El Arca de Noe in Cordoba, which I have used a translator to be able to read in English. So please excuse that I haven't been through it to correct the English, as I can only type with one finger!

UPDATE 28/7/2011 Baas Galgo now have 3 babies in Madrid, but the mama still hasn't been caught

Cadiz - dying horse - Seprona & Guardia Civil do nothing

This young horse is in Cadiz. It has no food, no water. It is starving to death - it hasn't even the strength to stand. people have been taking it food and water - see pix.

They have been onto the guardia civil and seprona, who are doing nothing.

Temperatures are in their 40 degrees. How long before this poor soul gives up its slender hold on life? and the authorities do nothing.

This is the lady trying to get something done. if you are in the area, please help.
