You may remember at the beginning of the year I featured a story about 3 galgos and a podenco in the Jaen killing station. The galgos were all rescued under the auspices of GRIN and podenca Estrella came out to me to foster. Two of the galgos and Estrella have now found their forever homes, but galga Angie was too ill and it has taken all this time to get her health sorted out.
This is what Telma of GRIN says.
'Angie is one of the three Jaen galgas that was rescued Feb. 2010 from the killing station. The other two galgos, Luna and Quia and the one podenco Estrella have been homed already. Angie was not able to homed due to her stomach illness which turned out to be worms and giardia, thus her loss of more weight.
The current pictures of her are at the dog kennel where she has been recovering from all her ailments. She desperately needs a foster home now. She has gained a few pounds since these pix were taken and no long has diaorrhea. She needs a home environment to get well and thrive. She needs a break and we are praying for one special angel for her, either foster or forever home.
Angie is in Valencia. You can contact Silvia at silvia_vcia@yahoo.es for more information about her or contact Beryl directly. Please help us to help Angie she has come too far to not know a loving home by now.
