The bestiality and cruelty of men knows no bounds. An abandoned galga in the hellhole of Badajoz, was being fed by a volunteer, trying to catch her, has returned now kicked in the mouth to break her jaw. This is an appeal for donations to pay the vet fees for the rebuilding work.

Dear Friends of Galgos and Greyhounds, I come to you to ask that you might help me help this special case that just came to me this morning of the galga we just named Sofie being rescued as I write. These are the details I have right now.
My rescue friend Silvia in Valencia Spain who I have worked with for years, got the call last night. Her friend Isabel in the town of Badajoz, southern Spain, called her hysterical and crying. This is the lady that rescued Paquito, a podenco GRIN brought here last year. A galga that she has been feeding since Feb. 10th appeared last night in the frightful condition you see in these pictures. This was a very scared galga that was coming closer and closer everyday for food, then, someone, a monster, must have kicked her in the mouth with such force that her jaw is hanging, tongue and teeth damaged.
I know it is hard to look at but, after Silvia assessed the situation from 500 km away, the only thing she could do is say, yes, I will take her. Silvia cannot leave her wandering the streets in this condition. She has arranged a personal transport for Sofie to Valencia via several drivers. She should be arriving this evening in Valencia. She will be assessed by the vet as soon as possible. Sofie can’t eat or drink right now but help is on the way.

She already has many dogs in her care at the dog pension who are in need of different care and needs help for Sofie, Two are recovering from malnutrition and mange, other needs 2nd operation for broken leg, Angie continues to see the vet for follow ups because of severe stomach/worm problems..and more, so it goes on and on…I hope they can save this girl..any contribution will be appreciated..you can PayPal to silvia_vcia@yahoo.es
