On Friday, I was in the killing station of Mairena, Seville, to rescue a few small dogs, and found more than 30 galgos. They urgently need to get out of there and sheltered and fostered before they are sacrified.

Snow arrived in France yesterday. It's fine for the Pyrenees for skiing, but no good for keeping animals. Frozen water pipes, frozen water buckets, grass under snow.....
But for the Arca de Noé refuge in Albacete in Spain, it is even worse. This picture is of the refuge in summer. See what they are coping with, along with many other northern Spanish refuges and shelters. Look at the depth of snow, plus frozen water pipes, snow in the dog runs....I can't begin to imagine what they cope with. The volunteers are absolute angels.
